When you download our digital direct software you will also need to download the calibration image to enable to adjust your monitor (if possible) to match your monitor to our calibration print (you need to request this below). We believe it is necessary to compare the image on your screen with a print made in our Laboratory. If the image is near enough the same in colour and contrast then when you select your own images for printing the results should be a good match to your pictures viewed on your monitor. If there are appreciable differences, however, you should make allowances. Software is available for controlling the colour and contrast of your monitor - an example would be Adobe Gamma (aprogram found in your settings panel if it is on your computer already).
